Tailor-made trip

Spend a week in a rustic gîte or charming chambre d’hôtes in picturesque Alaigne. This serene village in the Languedoc (Cathar country) is surrounded by rolling vineyards and waving wheat fields, with panoramic views. Wake up to the chirping of birds and the sun heralding a new day. In this healing environment you can recharge and work on themes that are important to you. Hostess and therapist/soul coach Désirée is ready to make your week an unforgettable experience.

Nearby you will find attractions such as Carcassonne, Limoux, Toulouse, Bugarach, Rennes-le-Château, Alet-les-Bains and Fontaine-des-Amours. If you have your own car or rent one, you can explore these sights. Don’t worry if you don’t have transport – half-day excursions are included. Start your mornings with a meditation ritual to lay a solid foundation. Then enjoy a home-cooked breakfast in your gîte. A shop where you can buy delicious croissants is just a 2-minute walk away. Prefer a served breakfast and being pampered? That’s possible too. During your stay, you will receive 4 individual sessions, during which you can work on pre-determined themes. In addition, there is a half-day excursion on the programme to explore the area. If you have your own transport (car or rental car), you can explore more if you wish. Fill your days with activities such as walking, lounging in the garden, reading a good book, painting, meditating, making a collage or snuggling up by the wood stove on cold days.

PS: If you do not have your own transport and choose a transfer, we will stop on the way to Alaigne at a supermarket where you can do your shopping for the week or at least for the first 3 to 4 days. Halfway through the week, when Désirée goes to the supermarket herself, you can join us again. Alaigne itself has a bakery that also sells some basic necessities, but this is limited. The nearest supermarket (Spar) is about 3 km away. In Limoux (about 15 minutes by car) you will find several large supermarkets.

Location

Stay in Alaigne, a picturesque village in the Aude, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and waving cornfields. Here you will find the spiritual centre Coeur de Roses, with its uniquely decorated rooms and gîte. Relax in the garden with several seating areas and a saltwater pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of adventure. On cooler days, the wood-burning stove in the breakfast room provides a warm welcome.
