That is why I master various techniques and methods to help you. This is known as integrative psychotherapy, in which various methods are combined. Hypnotherapy is the common thread here.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is all about working with trance. We all have moments when we stare ‘absently’ into space, lost in our own thoughts. At that moment we are actually in a trance: all our attention is focused inwards, on one specific subject. We use this natural process to let you focus on your inner world of experience. This way you discover the underlying causes of problems. Because you are completely relaxed, creative processes within yourself are given all the space to find solutions to problems. Because not only the problem lies within yourself, but also the solution. I guide you expertly and carefully in this process, in which I coordinate carrying capacity and carrying load.
How does it work?
The first step is as difficult as it is important: making an appointment. Many people find this difficult, but without exception they feel immense relief once they have taken this step! Before we start with psycho- or hypnotherapy, we first get to know each other during an intake interview. After this introduction you will know if there is a click, after which I will draw up a treatment plan. We have conversations, do exercises and sometimes I give you homework. The goal is to activate your own problem-solving skills, so that you can continue resiliently and self-confidently.
