Désirée as your HSP-coach
Years ago, a coach told me (Desirée) that I was highly sensitive. Although well-intentioned, it felt like something was wrong with me. Although I experienced my sensitivity as a burden at the time, I can now wholeheartedly say: ‘It is nice to be highly sensitive; I see it as my strength.’ However, this did not happen automatically. A highly sensitive person (HSP) can benefit from an HSP coach to investigate together what works and what doesn’t.
Research has shown that HSPs process stimuli differently than non-highly sensitive people. Their brains and nervous systems filter incoming information differently. They experience more intensely and need more time to process things. One in five people is highly sensitive. As an HSP coach, therapist (and expert by experience), I guide you in a practical way and teach you tools so that you can better deal with your high sensitivity and experience its benefits.

HSP-coaching: how does it work?
HSP coaching, just like other forms of guidance I offer, starts with making an appointment. This can be done by telephone, e-mail or via the contact form. I will then send you intake forms and we will schedule an intake interview in which we will discuss your goals and background in more detail. Based on this, we select some themes to work on.

how to proceed?
Once we have clarity about your themes, we get to work. The sessions take place via Zoom. Would you rather take time for yourself? You can also opt for a multi-day stay in the south of France to work on your themes.
